A girder is a support beam used in construction.


It is the main horizontal support of a structure which supports smaller beams. Girders often have an I-beam cross section composed of two load-bearing flanges separated by a stabilizing web, but may also have a box shape, Z shape and other forms. A girder is commonly used to build bridges.


The H Beam is a kind of new economical structural steel. The cross-sectional part of H Beam is reasonable, causing good mechanical property. Compared with ordinary I Beam, the internal stress of H Beam is small; Section modulus is big; Weight is light, which causes structure weight reduce 30-40%. Due to its good mechanical performance, it is widely used in many constructions, especially those large-scaled constructions-workshops, bridges, ships, elevating machinery, equipment foundation, support, foundation pile and so on.

The compact 200 panel bridge: The compact 200 panel bridge is similar to the compact 100 panel
bridge from their appearance. The difference is its increased panel height to 2.134m. It employed the method of alternating joints between Reinforcement Chords and the joints between panels. This method can decrease inelastic deformation caused by the oversized pinholes.
